State-of-the-art medical office coming to Churchmans Road

The Commonwealth Group today announced plans to develop The Delaware Center for Health and Wellness, a 40,000-square-foot medical office building at 620 Churchmans Road.
The project is slated for completion in August. The building will feature a energy efficient building envelope, LED lighting and high-end Class A finishes.
Lead tenants include The Birth Center of Wilmington, Partners in Health and Wellbeing, Performance Physical Therapy and Integrative Care Delaware: Center for Health and Research (ICD). The latter is a collaboration between researchers and physicians to provide comprehensive health care and research services.
“The mission of ICD is to provide integrated and complementary health services as well as educational opportunities to our patients and to the community at large while conducting research to continually enhance the effectiveness of our services,” said ICD co-founder Jan Roberts Rudzinski, “Healthcare organizations The Birth Center, Partners in Health and Wellbeing, and other healthcare providers from across Delaware are affiliating with ICD to deliver integrated healthcare services and to improve health outcomes for the patients we serve.”
Don Robitzer, COO of project development for The Commonwealth Group, said that the concept is to create an environment where like-minded medical practitioners can collaborate in a state-of-the-art facility with excellent access from all areas of New Castle County. “We are committed to identifying ‘Best in Class’ providers to join our existing practice base so that we can bring healthcare treatment into the 21st century”.
