New Castle County union workers will get three raises

WILMINGTON, Del.— The New Castle County Council has agreed to give county union employees a series of raises over the next two years.

On Tuesday, the council authorized the county executive to sign the collective bargaining agreement negotiated with employee union representatives.

As part of the agreement, employees will receive a 1 percent retroactive raise for this year, as well as 2 percent raises in each of the next two years.
