The New Castle County Association of REALTORS has installed Kimberly Davis, a native Delawarean, as the 2019 president.
“I am honored and humbled to have this opportunity to work with our leadership team and our members to build upon and strengthen the strong foundation and values that New Castle Association of REALTORS® brings to its members and the community,” Davis said. “As REALTORS®, we work hard to ensure the dream of homeownership for our clients and we advocate to protect property rights.”
Davis served as New Castle County Board of REALTORS® president elect in 2018 and as treasurer in 2017. Locally, she has served on many NCCBOR board committees, including legislative, public policy, finance, professional standards, RPAC, nominating and various task forces.
Davis’s involvement also extends to the State level, where she served the Delaware Association of REALTORS® as a Board of Directors member in 2011, 2017-2018, and served on the Finance and Budget committee in 2017 and 2018.
Kimberly worked in senior housing for many years before getting her real estate license. Once licensed, she started her career with Re/Max Central. Kimberly credits her then broker, Douglas Salmon, for the opportunity to start her career as a newly licensed agent with Re/Max, which at that time only allowed seasoned agents to join their organization.
