The New Castle Chamber of Commerce announced today plans to move from its location on Penns Way near the New Castle Airport to the Shipyard Center on the Wilmington Riverfront.

The Chamber has been at its current location for the last 10 years. The building hosted networking events, business education seminars, Chamber meetings, and the Emerging Enterprise Center, which houses10 start-up companies.

The new space was selected based on its easy access to the Chamber’s 250 members, according to President Mark Kleinschmidt.

The riverfront location is at the former site of the University of Phoenix.
