Wilmington, Del. — M&T Bank of Delaware and Junior Achievement of Delaware will honor Welfare Foundation President Peter C. Morrow with the Lifetime Achievement Award.
The award will be presented at October’s Delaware Business Leaders Hall of Fame Reception and Induction Ceremony.
Morrow is past president of the Longwood Foundation. Under his 20-year tenure as president of the Welfare Foundation, the organization has contributed $1 billion to various charities.
Morrow began his career with the foundations after serving nearly four decades with the DuPont Company,where he managed the global charitable giving program and community affairs activities in Delaware. A Wilmington native, Morrow has served on the Riverfront Development Corporation, Wilmington Housing Partnership, and Delaware State Chamber of Commerce.

Proceeds from the Delaware Business Leaders Hall of Fame benefit local Junior Achievement students pursuing direct employment, entrepreneurial start-up, or continued education upon high school graduation.
