More than 200 people attended the second annual DBT 40 event Sept. 30 at the Delaware Art Museum. This event honors 40 of Delaware’s difference-makers, who boast a wide range of professional success and community service.
DBT40 celebration honors Delaware’s influential young achievers and innovators under the age of 40.
This year’s class includes 22 men and 18 women, and the average age is 34, with the youngest 26.
They’re involved in technology, finance, law, real estate, hospitality, healthcare, media and marketing . This year’s class includes a National Guard officer, elected officials and Miss Delaware 2015
The nominators who championed their candidacies are colleagues or people who interact with them in business and community activities.
All the nominations included reference to accomplishments made in their respective career path as well as contributions made to help their community.
Three members of last year’s DBT40 class helped with this year’s selection – Mike Vanderslice, Nic DeCaire and Diane Urban.
