More Delawareans on road for Thanksgiving

Thirteen out of every 100 Delawareans will be on the road this Thanksgiving holiday – just slightly more than last year.
Most of them will drive to their dinner – about 116,016, while 9,356 or about 1 percent, will fly.
More than 128,000 Delawareans will travel 50 miles or more this Thanksgiving, according to AAA Mid-Atlantic. They’ll encounter the lowest Thanksgiving gas prices in five years.
The current average gas price of $2.14 on November 17 is the lowest since 2008 and 74 cents lower than last year’s.
Most trippers plan to leave tomorrow and return on Sunday.
