The New Castle County Chamber of Commerce announced this week that Mark Kleinschmidt will resign, effective immediately.
Kleinschmidt led the organization for the last 12 years.
“Mark has led the Chamber for many years and the Board extends our best wishes to him,” wrote Tim Boulden, chairman of the board, in a message to members.

Bob Chadwick, a 10-year veteran of the chamber, has taken over as acting president with approval from the board.
