ILC Dover awarded patents for flood-proofing systems

ILC Dover been awarded patents for its Flex-Gate^®, Flex-Wall^®, and Flex-Cover^® flood-proofing systems. The systems are designed to be stored at the point of use and can be deployed by one or two individuals to protect critical assets in a flood.

The company is marketing the systems for protecting commercial and government buildings, subway systems, underground rail and highway tunnels, power utility entrances and other critical or high-value structures.

Products of this type have gained national attention with the uptick of powerful hurricanes leading to the flooding of public and private property.
