Magazine recognizes hospital in Best of Children’s Hospitals list

Nemours/Alfred I. duPont Hospital for Children has been recognized again by “U.S. News & World Report”  for being among the Best Children’s Hospitals in the nation in the 2015-16 edition of Best Children’s Hospitals.  It was ranked fifth in the nation in orthopedics

In the latest rankings, released today, duPont Hospital ranked in eight of the ten surveyed specialties – 38 in cancer care, 32 in heart surgery and cardiology, 35 in gastroenterology, 39 in neonatology, 39 in nephrology, 5 in orthopedics, 42 in pulmonology and 27 in urology.

“These ‘U.S. News & World Report’ specialty rankings recognize the dedication, expertise and teamwork of our physicians, nurses and staff, supported by innovation and research to advance the highest quality care and help children grow up healthy and reach their full potential,” said Dr. David J. Bailey, president and CEO of Nemours.
