The American Association of Law Libraries will gather in Philadelphia for its annual conference July 18-21, a conference that is predicted to have an $8.2 million impact on the city.

The four-day event at the Pennsylvania Convention Center will bring 2,000 visitors, mostly law librarians from across the country. They will book 6,103 hotel rooms, and the convention showcase will feature more than 80 vendors.

The conference will include a day of workshops and leadership training and three full days of educations programs and networking opportunities

Terry Gross, the host of NPR’s Fresh Air, will be the only keynote speaker
