WILMINGTON Eighteen months after finalizing a $2 billion deal, Intertrust Group has rebranded the CSC brand, formally bringing 5,000 employees under the Delaware company’s banner.

Both companies will now operate under CSC and will provide leading business, legal, tax and digital brand services to companies across the globe. The acquisition closed in late 2022 and expanded CSC’s presence from 3,000 employees in 13 countries to more than 8,000 dedicated employees in more than 140 jurisdictions.

“Intertrust Group has been part of the CSC family for more than a year now,” CSC CEO and President Rod Ward III said in a prepared statement. “The name change reflects our desire to be a fully integrated and unified brand as we explore the next exciting chapter of our growth together.”

Intertrust was a publicly-traded company based in Amsterdam that had grown over the past 10 years. It also provided tech-enabled funds and corporate solutions around the world, serving clients like  FIFA, New York-based multinational investment bank Morgan Stanley and the Blackstone credit investment arm GSO Capital Partners, among others.

CSC first courted Intertrust for a deal, in part, due to its complementary nature and diversity of services, as well as strong connections in Europe and the Asia-Pacific market where CSC was still making in-roads.

While CSC rarely discloses its acquisition prices for companies, it’s likely this deal was the largest in the company’s history.

Ward added that Intertrust Group’s rebrand was also a part of a larger brand refresh overall as the Delaware company celebrates 125 years of being in business.

“The rebrand is the next stage of what has been an extremely successful growth strategy geared towards servicing our clients’ increasingly complex needs as they navigate an ever-evolving compliance and regulatory environment,” Ward said. “No other provider can compete with our expertise, logistics, award-winning technology, regulatory knowledge, global footprint, and relationships. I’m thrilled to welcome the team that helped to make this happen into the CSC fold.”

More than 90% of Fortune 500 companies and 100 Best Global Brands and 70% of the Private Equity International 300 and 10,000 law firms are served by CSC today.
