Inspire Lot event scheduled for Friday

Creative District Wilmington’s next Inspire Lot event is scheduled for Friday from 5:30 to 8 p.m., at the new Inspire Lot at 215-219 W. 7th Street.
The free event will feature food, music by Gable Music Ventures and Joy Ike and the dedication of the “Hair” mural.
The Inspire Lot will be on the Art on the Town Art Loop.
Admission for this event is free; rain date is June 10.
The event will feature a special dedication of the “Hair” mural with City Theater Company and artist Terrance Vann, a hands-on art activity by the New Wilmington Art Association, and the unveiling of the Wilmington Green Box, a healthy-foods cart operated by Wilmington youth.
The Inspire Lot Series continues August 5, September 2 and October 7, and is sponsored by ACT Generation, Cityfest, City of Wilmington, Colonial Parking, Creative District Wilmington, Downtown Visions, Gable Music Ventures and Wilmington Renaissance Corporation.
