Five Areas Where Your Company Can Achieve Substantial Digital Transformation Cost Savings

Streamlining operations with digital tools that leverage automation, cloud computing, AI, and data analytics is the key to fine-tuning processes and achieving your goals...

Approach to success
Under the direction of Clendening, HR Strategies’ professionals commit to a minimum of 60 hours of continuous learning per year and are required to achieve the competency-based SHRM-CP or SHRM-SCP certifications. As a result, the team uses advanced tools to deliver insightful analyses. Clendening and her staff play a key role throughout the employee life cycle. That includes sourcing, selecting and onboarding talent; engaging and developing the workforce; moving people through talent pipelines; and exiting employees from the organization when necessary.

Clendening and her staff also provide value-added services through continuously educating and updating their clients on changes to labor and employment law and best-practice strategies. This is accomplished by Clendening’s authoring and distributing “Monthly Strategies,” a monthly newsletter that includes the latest in regulatory changes, reminders on upcoming compliance requirements and best-practice sharing. In addition, she regularly provides free workshops to assist
in achieving everything from compliance to coaching.

Community engagement
During the past two decades, Clendening has been an active member of Delaware SHRM Chapter Board of Directors. She has assisted with membership, spoken with other groups about the value of being a member of SHRM and volunteered for the State Conference. As the President of the Chapter, Clendening was able to increase membership by more than 20% year over year for two years, which enabled the organization to contribute more to professional development of the members as well as better support our community outreach partners.
