Fannie Maeโs Home Purchase Sentiment Index reach 86.5 for July, an all-time high that indicates a more positive outlook in the housing market. The net share of consumers who expect home prices to go up over the next 12 months rose 8 points and the net share of consumers who expect interest rates to drop over the next 12 months rose 5 points.
The net share of Americans who say they are not concerned with losing their jobs rose 1 point to 69 percent.
