The Wall Street Journal and Times Higher Education have teamed up to assemble a series of college rankings for 2019 that is designed to help prospective students choose their school.
One of these rankings looked at historically black colleges and universities (HBCUs) and placed Delaware State University in sixth place in a tie with Morehouse College in Atlanta, Georgia.
The data is based on an annual survey of 200,000 current college students that includes 15 individual performance indicators designed to get at the heart of what students and their families care about.
“Delaware State University is one of the best respected Historically Black Colleges and Universities,” writes Times Higher Education.
