Grotto Pizza in West Bethany last week celebrated the completion of a new look. The renovations included new paint, flooring, tables, chairs, booths and televisions.

The Bethany-Fenwick Area Chamber of Commerce held a ribbon cutting to celebrate the changes. The company plans to apply the new style to the other 11 locations in Sussex County.

“We are working on updating all of our locations to have the same color scheme and look,” said Jeffrey Gosnear, vice president of Grotto Pizza, Inc.

The first Grotto Pizza opened in Delaware 58 years ago. The chain is famous for its swirl pizza, which has become a beach tradition for many vacationers and a staple among locals.
