Governor’s Entrepreneurial & Small business Conference scheduled for Oct. 20

The Delaware Economic Development Office (DEDO) will sponsor the Governor’s Entrepreneurial & Small Business Conference on Tuesday, Oct. 20 at the Chase Center.

Designed to provide Delaware entrepreneurs, innovators and small businesses with essential resources, partners and trending educational topics critical to success, the conference will feature guest speakers, panel discussions and networking opportunities.

Keynote speakers at the event will be Gov. Jack Markell,  DEDO Director Bernice Whaley, Tanya Bakalov, cofounder and chief of staff at SevOne and Mac Magaswami.

Panel topics scheduled for the event include:

* Keys to positioning and accessing external financing to start, grow and scale in Delaware.

* How to get our money: Strategies from Delaware lenders on how to access capital.

* Expanding entrepreneurial and small business support in Delaware.

* Promoting an inclusive economy in the First State.
