Gov. John Carney to keynote State Chamber’s manufacturing conference

The Delaware State Chamber of Commerce and Delaware Manufacturing Association will host its annual Spring Legislative Brunch and Manufacturing Conference on April 9.

The Delaware Technical Community College (DTCC) will host. Gov. John Carney will keynote the legislative session at 11:00 a.m. Congresswoman Lisa Blunt Rochester, DTCC President Dr. Mark T. Brainard, and State Chamber President Rich Heffron will also speak.

Gary Convis will keynote the morning manufacturing session with a talk on lean manufacturing. Convis worked for Toyota Motor Corporation for four decades. He’s now a senior adviser to Bloom Energy.

Registration will begin at 9:00 a.m. at DTCC’s Terry Campus. More information is available here: www.dscc.com
