Goldey-Beacom College offers new business degree

Goldey-Beacom College will begin offering the Doctor of Business Administration Degree in Fall 2018. This is a new level of study for the New Castle County college.

“This program is the result of a year’s intense work by a faculty and staff feasibility work group, review by two out-of-state, expert business education consultants, and careful consideration by our own Business Department and Curriculum Committee,” said President Gary L. Wirt. “It’s an exciting next step which can only add to the prestige of our institution and elevate our existing degree programs. The emphasis will be on quality, interactive instruction and talented students.”

The program is designed for working executives who already have an MBA and prepares those interested in continuing to work in the business field, rather than conduct research.
