Girl Scouts of the Chesapeake Bay has announced that Girl Scout cookie sales have been extended through April 14.
Other chapters around the country have extended sales for various reasons, including a string of rainy weather in the south.

The group is also asking buyers to consider donating to Operation Taste of Home, which was created to help the public send Girl Scout cookies to U.S. troops and assist in local communities.
