As temperatures dropped throughout the region this week, so have prices at the pump.  Like the national gas price average, prices in Pennsylvania, New Jersey and Delaware have dropped by as much as three cents since last Sunday. Drivers can expect pump prices to continue to drop heading into the holiday season as supply strengthens and gasoline demand weakens.

Today’s national gas price average is $2.43, which is four cents lower than one week ago, 13 cents lower than one month ago and 19 cents higher than this time last year.

Delaware’s average price is $2.31, 3 cents less than last week but still higher than the year-ago average of $2.24.
