Gabe’s to open second Delaware store

Gabe’s, a discount name-brand retailer with 55 U.S. stores, has announced plans to open a store in Prices Corner Shopping Center.

Hiring for the new store is scheduled Monday and Tuesday, from 9 am. to 7 p.m. at the Christiana Hilton at 100 Continental Drive in Newark.

Applicants must bring two forms of official ID and be prepared to be interviewed and hired on the spot. The company will accept resumes of those who cannot attend the hiring event at applyjobs.69@gabes.net.

Gabe’s, founded in 1961 as Gabriel Brothers, is a privately-held fashion and home retailer headquartered in Morgantown, W. Va. They also operate a store in Eden Square Shopping Center in Bear.
