Individuals may join the free Future Leaders of Business-Out of School Youth program, which offers the opportunity to develop personal and professional skills and enhance marketability and competitiveness in the workplace through job-skills training.

The assessment screenings, which do not require pre-registration, will be offered on campus in Building 200. Screenings will take place at 9 a.m. and 5 p.m. on August 23 and August 24. The assessment will last approximately 3.5 hours.

GED instructors will also help adult learners who are over 24. Future Leaders of Business participants will obtain a GED and earn industry-recognized certificates, participate in employability life skills training and leadership development opportunities, take financial literacy workshops and complete up to 262 hours of on-the-job training through paid work experience and internships.

Upon completion of the program, individuals will be workforce ready and prepared to continue their post-secondary education. For additional information on the program or placement screening assessments, contact Out of School Youth staff at (302) 857-1500.
