The Delaware Tech Terry Campus in Dover is offering free GED placement screenings and a Future Leaders of Business program for residents who have withdrawn from high school without a degree.

The GED program is free for individuals 16-62 years old who have officially withdrawn from high school. The assessment screening, which lasts about 3.5 hours, requires no pre-registration and will be offered on campus Thursday, October 19 at 9 a.m. in Building 200.

Immediately following the assessment, 16-24-year-olds may attend an information session about the Future Leaders of Business-Out of School Youth program, a free job-skills training program.

Future Leaders of Business students will work towards earning GEDs and industry-recognized certificates, get life-skills training and leadership-development opportunities, attend financial-literacy workshops and complete on-the-job training through paid work experiences.

For additional information on the program or placement screening assessments, call (302) 857-1500 or (302) 857-1282.
