Firm raises $24,800 for Harvey victims in one day

The lawyers and staff of Delaware’s largest law firm pledged $24,800 to Hurricane Harvey relief efforts in a single day.

After Richards, Layton & Finger firm pledged to match individual donations, employees donated $12,400.

“Our hearts go out to everyone in the region who is suffering from the devastation brought by Hurricane Harvey, and we’re honored to do our part to help in the hard work of rebuilding lives, homes, and communities after this tragedy,” said Gregory Varallo, the firm’s president.

“Our firm holds monthly fundraisers to support a variety of local and national charities, and I’m always deeply gratified by our employees’ generous contributions. I’m proud to report that this month, our Hurricane Harvey fundraiser raised ten times the normal amount.”
