Citizens Bank is offering funding to nonprofits to help consumers improve their fiscal health.
The bank has a footprint in 11 states, including Delaware. In 2017, it awarded $1.4 million to 80 organizations. Eligible programs include budgeting, home ownership counseling, foreclosure prevention, credit management and investing.
The funding comes out of the bank’s ongoing commitment to equip consumers with the confidence and knowledge to take care of their financial needs.
Nonprofits must apply by Dec. 28, 2017. The recipients will be announced in April 2018.
