WSFS’ pet project spurs adoptions

WSFS Bank and the Delaware Humane Association are partnering to encourage pet adoption.

WSFS Bank pledged to donate $100 for every pet adoption, up to $5,000. It didn’t take long to achieve that goal.

Within just 13 days the Humane Association reached its goal — 34 cats and 16 dogs were adopted, and WSFS donated $5,000.

“We are so incredibly grateful for our good friends at WSFS Bank,’’ said Patrick Carroll, executive director of the Humane Association.
