Health Screenings
Beebe Healthcare will be offering free health screenings during the annual Frankford Health Fair. The community is invited to this family-friendly event, which will include flu shots by the Delaware Division of Public Health, fire trucks, helicopters (weather permitting) and more. Light refreshments will be available.
The event runs from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. at the Frankford Fire Company, 7 Main St., Frankford. For more information, call Beebe Healthcare’s Population Health department at (302) 645-3337.
Gourmet Gala
Delaware Technical Community College will hold its 13th annual Gourmet Gala fund-raiser from 6 to 10:30 p.m. in the Del-One Conference Center on the Terry Campus in Dover.
The black tie-optional affair features specialty food items and beverages from Delaware’s finest restaurateurs, brewers, vintners and distillers. In addition, To The Max, an energetic club and dance band, will provide live entertainment. There will also be a silent auction and a raffle for a four-digit black and white license plate.
Funds generated by the Gourmet Gala support student success on the Terry Campus by enhancing the college’s ability to offer educational opportunities and activities for its diverse student body, along with scholarships and the ability to purchase state-of-the-art equipment to maintain classrooms and learning labs.

The Delaware Law for Creators
Join the Delaware Law School’s Patent Pro Bono Program and the Delaware Press Association on Saturday, from 9 a.m. to noon for a free workshop on trademark, patent and copyright law. 53rd Annual Delaware  Antiques Show
Winterthur will present the 53rd Annual Delaware Antiques Show on Nov. 11 -12 at Chase Center on the Riverfront. Sixty of the country’s most distinguished dealers will present the finest offerings of American antiques and decorative arts, including furniture, paintings, rugs, ceramics, silver, jewelry and more. Women in STEM conference
Delaware Bio and DESCA will present this year’s Inspiring Women in STEM Conference on from 8:30 a.m. to 6 p.m. at the DuPont Country Club in Wilmington.
The event is an action-packed day of professional development sessions that will engage and inspire. The program will feature forward-thinking presentations, informative panel discussions, audience participation exercises, and fun networking activities.
From practical advice on effective ways to navigate your career to the opportunity to learn from the experiences of successful women who have traveled remarkable journeys, you will come away with valuable and actionable ideas and guidance.

Holiday Auction & Tastes of Milford
The Chamber of Commerce for Greater Milford invites you to celebrate the 10th Annual Holiday Auction & Tastes of Milford at the Rookery North in Milford, from 6 to 9 p.m. Auctioneer Dave Wilson will be returning for the 10th year, and the committee is planning a few 10th anniversary surprises.
A portion of the proceeds will benefit the Greater Milford Boys & Girls Club. The youth organization started over 85 years ago and now serves more than 30,000 boys and girls in 40 locations across Delaware.
Event tickets are on sale now, $20 in advance, and if there are any left, the cost is $25 the night of the event.
The Chamber is accepting donation items starting at minimum value of $25 and looking for businesses to join Bayhealth Medical Center, BK Rentals and I.G. Burton as corporate sponsors. Several other sponsorships are also available ranging from Friend of the Chamber at $50 to the $1,000 corporate level and many of the sponsorships include tickets to the event.
This event is open to the public.
