FanDuel, a popular fantasy sports website, today announced it will resume operations in Delaware. The site allows cash betting and prize money.
“With NFL season right around the corner, Delaware sports fans will see big changes to our product since last year — including new season-long leagues, improved lineup editing tools, new contest types, and more,” said Nigel Eccles, CEO of FanDuel.
The announcement came on the heels of Gov. John Carney signing a bill that legalizes betting on fantasy sports and establishes consumer protections for players — the 14th state to pass such a law.
“We have thousands of fantasy players in Delaware who love our product and now know that their right to play daily fantasy sports is protected thanks to important legislation sponsored by state Representative Charles Potter,” Eccles said.
