The Emerging Enterprise Center hires new program director

The Emerging Enterprise Center today announced Dora Cheatham as its new program director. Throughout her career, Cheatham has focused on sales, marketing, and product development. Most recently, she has run a consulting firm for small businesses in Delaware.

Born in the U.K., Cheatham relocated to Delaware 25 years ago. Some of her past positions include business development manager at Celeste Industries, a chemical company, and director of development at Kent-Sussex Industries, a nonprofit rehabilitation organization in Milford.

The Emerging Enterprise Center is an initiative of the New Castle County Chamber of Commerce. It serves as a startup incubator and business support organization.

Cheatham is a member of the Delaware State Chamber of Commerce, the Central Delaware Chamber of Commerce Marketing Committee, and the Delaware Sustainable Chemistry Alliance Operations Team.
