Jacob, we will get right on this for you: “for the thousands of downtown Wilmington workers who commute through the same corridors, it was a difficult reminder that the city still has work to do.”
it’s not Wilmington that has work to day as they are already doing all of the work with 5 drug treatment facilities, 12 halfway houses, 20 homeless shelters, 4 clinics for serious diseases, 1 correctional institution, and 1 community correctional facility all within a 10 block radius. The City accepts all of these folks without exception and for the most part is pretty, vibrant successful place. What’s everybody else doing?
