SINGAPORE – DuPont announced the opening of its Association of Southeast Asian Nations (ASEAN) headquarters in Singapore.
DuPont Asia Pacific President Tony Su said DuPont’s footprint in the region began 43 years ago in Singapore, and the company now has eight offices and 13 plants in the region.
Su called the area, which has 620 million people and a rising middle class, one of the key growth regions for DuPont.
DuPont Senior Vice President Douglas Muzyka spoke at the opening of the new office and technology center: “DuPont is deeply committed to scientific innovation. The co-location of business leaders with scientists and engineers at the DuPont Singapore ASEAN headquarters will enable us to deliver solutions for the region and the world more rapidly than ever before.”
