Local drone enthusiasts Jerrod Bates and Sam Ellis, right, educated and entertained nearly 90 Delaware Tech Terry Campus summer camp and Upward Bound program students during a July 1 on-campus activity session. Bates and Ellis discussed how drones work, how to build one, current uses for the machines and possible future uses for the technology. The session ended with a flying demonstration, including group photos taken by the drones as they hovered overhead.
