DiSabatino Construction Co. celebrated its 35th anniversary with a party in November 2016. The company has completed more than $900 million in work since it was founded in 1981. Some customers have been with DiSabatino since its inception.
The DiSabatinos have a strong family tradition of building. Larry DiSabatino is a fourth- generation Delaware contractor. After World War II, his father, Anthony, along with his brothers and brother-in-law, ran DiSabatino and Raniere Construction Co. His grandfather, Arthur, along with his brothers and Larry’ DiSabatino’s great-grandfather, Ernesto, started Ernest DiSabatino and Sons in 1908.
DiSabatinto continued the tradition when he founded DiSabatino Construction Co. on April 20, 1981. Now, his sons, Michael, Jeffrey, and Kevin, members of the fifth generation of DiSabatinos in the construction business, are involved in leading the organization.
