Delaware business executives Ernie Dianastasis and Rob Siegfried, Jr. were inducted into the Delaware Business Leaders Hall of Fame on Wednesday.
Junior Achievement of Delaware hosted the ceremony at the Wilmington Country Club.The annual event honors business leaders who have made significant contributions to the state through their business and community endeavors.
Dianastasis is founder and CEO of The Precisionists, Inc., a global administrative services and information company with the aim of employing 10,000 people with disabilities by 2025.
He was formerly a senior executive at Computer Aid, Inc., an IT start-up that grew to more than 1,400 professionals over the course of 25 years. Dianastasis said CAI gave him the platform to grow the business and give back to the community.
“Through this work I realized how critical education is to our future success,” said Dianastasis, now the chairman of First State Innovation, a private sector-led nonprofit initiative to foster a more entrepreneurial environment in Delaware.
Rob Siegfried, Jr. is the founder and CEO of The Siegfried Group, a Wilmington-based accounting firm with 18 locations nationwide named one of the fastest growing accounting firms in the U.S. by Inc. 5000. He also co-founded the Siegfried Leadership Program.
“There is no way anyone ends up here alone,” said Siegfried. “It’s a collaborative effort with tons of support.
Junior Achievement of Delaware works with 16,000 Delaware students to develop skills in entrepreneurship, work readiness and financial literacy.
