No Delaware Kmart stores are slated to close. Sears announced Thursday it would close another 28 Kmarts in addition to the 180 announced earlier this year.
The retailer showed a quarterly loss and said the number of people visiting its stores fell. Sales at stores open for a year or more fell 11.5 percent in the second quarter.

There are at least four Kmart stores in the state, including three in New Castle County and one in Sussex.
The closest closure to Delaware is the store in Willow Grove, Pa.
