Tech and Jazz
The Technology Forum of Delaware is hosting the second annual showcase of upcoming technologies in addition to jazz performances in Rodney Square. The event will take place from 5:30 to 7:30 p.m. during the Clifford Brown Jazz Festival. The cost is $25 for Technology Forum members and $40 for future members. Rockwood Ice Cream Festival
Delaware’s largest family picnic returns to New Castle County’s Rockwood Park on June 25-26. The New Castle County Ice Cream Festival, which typically draws 10,000 to 12,000 guests per day, features the popular “Best Sundae on Sunday” competition among ice cream vendors, live music on two stages, a children’s area filled with animals, games and entertainment, and crafters and local businesses. Festival hours are 10 a.m. to 7 p.m. June 25, and 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. June 26. Admission is $5 for adults, with children 12 and younger and accompanied by an adult admitted for free. Free shuttle bus service will be provided between Rockwood Park and nearby parking areas. The festival is dog-friendly. Friendly dogs on leashes are welcome at the festival and on our shuttle buses. Lunch and Seminar — SEO and Social Media Hack to Boost your Visibility
Sponsored by the Delaware Small Business Chamber, this event will feature remarks from Delaware ShoutOut founder Brooke Miles and Chris Darling, the owner and founder of Darling SEO. The seminar will provide ways to alter your SEO and social media strategies in order to boost brand visibility. The event and speakers will highlight the best practices for getting reviews, easy ways to increase social media traffic, and many other ways to enhance brand awareness. The event will take place from 11:30 a.m. to 2 p.m. at the Ed Oliver Golf Club in Wilmington. The cost is $20 for members and $45 for nonmembers.

Free Small Business check-up in Middletown
Delaware Small Business Development Center (DSBDC) will host a free Business Resiliency Check-up from 6:30 to 8:30 p.m. at the Middletown Main Street office for small businesses and nonprofit organizations. Topics for presentation will include
- Accounting and QuickBooks
- Legal Matters
- Insurance and Knowing Your Risks
- Business Continuity.

BioBreakfast
Delaware Bio will host several speakers on the topic of Biology at BioBreakfast from 7:30 to 9:15 a.m. The breakfast will be held at the John H. Ammon Medical Education Center in Newark. Food Compliance and Regulations Conference
The Delaware Food Compliance and Regulations Conference will be held from 9 a.m. to noon at Delaware State University. The conference will provide information to producers and agricultural businesses to help maintain compliance with state and federally defined regulations. Attendance is free, but you must register.
