As an associate attorney at the international law firm Greenberg Traurig LLP, Samuel Moultrie wears many hats, regularly representing Delaware entities, directors, officers and investors in the areas of corporate governance, mergers and acquisitions, fiduciary duties and federal securities laws. He has litigated several notable cases, including the representation of a former financial institution executive in a white-collar criminal prosecution and Securities and Exchange Commission investigation. Moultrie’s experience has allowed him to participate in leadership positions in various nationwide legal organizations, including the American Bar Association (ABA), and the editorial board of the ABA’s Corporate Governance Committee’s InSight publication.
Locally, Moultrie was appointed chairman of the Wilmington City Council Organization Commission. He is also a 2015 fellow of the Leadership Delaware Inc. program and sits on the board of directors of several local nonprofit entities, including OperaDelaware Inc. and the Next Generation of the Delaware Community Foundation. He has served as the treasurer of the Trinity Vicinity Neighborhood Association, and volunteers with Big Brothers/Big Sisters of Delaware, the Blood Bank of Delmarva, and the Rodney Street Tennis & Tutoring Association.
