Best career advice you ever got: Your reputation is one of your strongest assets. Don’t undermine it by being lazy, dishonest, or pretentious.
Two words that best describe you: Compassionate and driven.
Work/life balance technique you recommend: I’ve found it important, even as a young professional, to routinely schedule time with family and friends similar to any other commitment. Time is valuable and can be managed with organization, planning and commitment.
If you were in charge of Delaware: If my being in charge of Delaware meant it could actually be implemented, I would consolidate the Delaware public school districts. The quality of Delaware’s public education is important to the state’s future and has an impact well beyond the education of Delaware students. In my opinion, the unnecessarily large number of school districts arguably hinders meaningful reform.
In one sentence, define “success.” Achieving a desired result in an honorable manner.
