Something about the energy of Danielle Hufford must be rubbing off on ShureLine Electrical, because the marketing director’s positivity seems to affect everyone around her. Colleagues at the Smyrna-based company admire her ability to motivate and make a name for the business in Delaware. A class of 2015 graduate from the CDCC Leadership Central Delaware (LCD) Program, Hufford received the “Most Likely to Run for Office” political award. She is also a member of Delaware Small Business Connections, the CDCC’s young professionals group, and was recently honored as the 2018 Central Delaware Chamber of Commerce’s Ambassador of the Year and Young Professional of the Year.
Hufford’s energy transfers over to community engagement, where she plans and executes various charity events throughout the year, including raising a total of more than $8,000 to benefit Faithful Friends No-Kill Animal Shelter and the Delaware Alzheimer’s Association. In 2015, she helped coordinate the first Golf Outing for the Central Delaware Habitat for Humanity, while also raising $8,000. In 2016 and 2017, she raised a total of $33,000 for the Fisher House for Families of the Fallen.
