Maggie is invaluable to Jewish Family Services as a senior manager and as the Director of Care Management, one of JFS’s three core departments. Her vision to support the well-being of others, particularly our community’s most vulnerable populations, is palpable, and her competency is only surpassed by her compassion.

Social media you can’t live without: I enjoy Pinterest because it’s an easy way to find and save creative ideas, recipes and more. I could certainly live without it, though!
Best career advice you ever got: You don’t always end up along the path you had planned, so be open to new opportunities and to change.
How you give back: Helping others is extremely important to me. I have focused my career on this goal and strive to serve others daily in my life.
Your biggest challenge: Continuously adapting to an older adult population’s changing needs and coordinating our services to meet their goals.
Networking group you use the most: The Delaware Alliance for Nonprofit Advancement.
Your biggest break: Taking a position at Jewish Family Services of Delaware, serving as Brandywine Village Network’s Volunteer Coordinator. My position has since grown and has afforded me great experience, opportunities to help our community’s older adult population, and the chance to build many connections throughout the state.
Work-life balance technique you recommend: Take time to separate. It’s easy to get caught up in work responsibilities around the clock, but it’s necessary to make time away to recharge.
