Social media you can’t live without: Facebook because it’s like a hybrid between Twitter and Instagram and I can reach a wider demographic.
How you give back: I serve as a mentor and participate in community service through the Metropolitan Wilmington Urban League with the Sunday Breakfast Mission, Friendship House, Food Bank of Delaware, and the Christina Cultural Arts Center.
Your biggest challenge: Finding time to consistently exercise and eat right with a busy schedule.
Your biggest break: Becoming a legislative fellow.
Best career advice you ever got: Don’t worry about the money. Do what you love to do and the money will follow.
Work-life balance technique you recommend: Put everything on one calendar as to not overbook yourself, and schedule fun!
Networking group you use the most: The Metropolitan Wilmington Urban League Young Professionals. It’s a statewide organization that has been around for about 16 years and has recently grown to over 80 like-minded young professionals from cross-sectional fields and demographics. I currently serve as the vice president of the group.
