It is the largest gathering of state elected officials and provincial officials in the East.

Workshops will address policy issues relating to agriculture, rural development, criminal justice, U.S.-Canadian relations, education, energy and environment, health,

International trade, military and veteran affairs and transportation.

The New-York-based council is the only regionally based, multi-branch organization serving all 50 states, U.S. territories and commonwealths. The program will begin at 1 p.m. on Saturday and run until Wednesday.
