Christiana Care retains magnet status

The American Nurses Credentialing Center has redesignated Christiana Care Health System as a magnet for nursing excellence.
Magnet is the preeminent recognition for hospital systems in the United States. Only 7 percent of the nation’s hospitals hold the designation. Christiana Care was first in Delaware to achieve magnet status in 2010, and it is first in the state to attain redesignation.
Hundreds of Christiana Care staffs gathered on both of the hospital’s campuses to hear the news.
