Christiana Care Health System made Newsweek’s list of the World’s Best Hospitals. The national publication recognized the system as being on the “forefront of adapting” to changes sweeping the health care industry “while providing top-notch patient care.”
The award recognizes the best 1,000 hospitals across 11 countries: the United States of America, Canada, United Kingdom, France, Switzerland, Germany, Israel, Japan, South Korea, Singapore, Australia.
“At Christiana Care, we serve together to provide the very best care and an exceptional experience to our community,” said Janice E. Nevin, M.D., MPH, Christiana Care president and CEO. “This recognition by Newsweek is a testament to the dedication of our extraordinary caregivers, who deliver outstanding care every day, guided by our values, excellence and love. The recognition also affirms that our continued investment in our caregivers, technology and innovation is making a difference in the health of the people we serve.”
The rankings were determined based on recommendations from tens of thousands of doctors, hospital managers and health care professionals. In addition, the rankings factored in patient survey results and medical performance indicators.
Newsweek partnered with Statista Inc., a global market research and consumer data company, to develop the ranking of the world’s best hospitals.
