Chicken processor Allen Harim names Joe Moran as CEO

Joe-MoranJoe Moran was promoted to CEO of Allen Harim, a leading producer and processer of chicken on Delmarva. Moran, a poultry industry veteran with more than 30 years of experience, will oversee all aspects of the company’s operations, including growout, production, sales and marketing, finance and human resources.

Moran joined Allen Harim in November 2015 as executive director and is a member of the company’s leadership council. Before joining Allen Harim, Moran served as chief operations officer at Mountaire Farms in Millsboro.

Union Park BMW recently added several key members to its team. Ron Rescigno is now group training director. Ron has been a part of the Union Park BMW team for 12 years. Previously, he was an assistant sales manager at Union Park BMW. Mike Gardner is sales manager. Mike has been the sales manager of Union Park BMW for six months. He oversees the operations of all Union Park BMW new, used and pre-owned sales. Bill Gardner is finance manager. Bill has been with Union Park for six months as the finance manager for Union Park BMW and Union Park Jaguar. Bill previously worked as the finance manager at another luxury car dealer. Leslie Rivera is a Union Park BMW genius. Leslie has been with Union Park BMW since March 1. As the dealership’s BMW genius, Leslie is the friendly face that assists in educating the customers about their BMWs before and after purchase.

Pierre Oulai is Union Park client advisor. Pierre has been a member of the Union Park Team for over five months. He previously worked in the real estate investment industry. Ryan Crocamo is also a client advisor. Ryan has been with Union Park BMW for just over two months. As a client advisor, Ryan presents products to customers and answers product and pricing questions. Todd Goode is also a client advisor. Todd has been a member of Union Park BMW for one month, but previously worked for the company. Nickole Steele has been named customer relations manager.

J. Paul Jones and C. Neil Stalter of Diamond State Financial Group have earned the certified financial planner certification. The CFP certification is awarded to experienced candidates who complete a prescribed program of study and a six-hour comprehensive exam, and fulfill certain ethical and professional experience requirements. Certificants receive training in financial planning; more specifically, income tax, cash flow, retirement, estate and investment planning.

Wilmington Trust’s Kroch and Nenno elected fellows

Carol Kroch and Dick Nenno of Wilmington Trust were chosen by The American College of Trust and Estate Counsel (ACTEC) as fellows.

Nenno is senior managing director and trust counsel at Wilmington Trust, and Kroch is managing director of wealth and philanthropic planning in wealth advisory at Wilmington Trust.

This year, ACTEC expanded membership to include a “fiduciary counsel” category at trust companies. Kroch and Nenno are the only two fiduciary counsel elected as fellows in Delaware. Only nine fiduciary counsel were elected in total across the United States.

ACTEC is a nonprofit, professional organization for trust and estate lawyers and law professors who are elected as Fellows by their peers based on significant contributions to the field. ACTEC has more than 2,600 members in the United States, Canada, and other countries.

Matthew Glaser was hired as head of equity and nontraditional investments at Wilmington Trust. In his new role, he’ll oversee the equity team and institutional investment group, as well as the manager search group for equities and alternative investments. Glaser will be based in Wilmington Trust’s headquarters.

In additional to his primary role, Glaser has been appointed as a voting member of the investment committee, which is composed of the firm’s top analysts, strategists, and economics.

Glaser has more than two decades of experience in the equity and institutional investments industry.

Kathy Tatman promoted to vocational coordinator

Kathy Tatman of Chimes International, Ltd. and Subsidiaries has been promoted to vocational coordinator of its Irv and Phyllis Levin Employment Center in Millsboro.

Tatman has worked with Chimes for 15 years. She served as the residential manager of Chimes Delaware for 13 years, working directly with individuals with disabilities to develop housing plans tailored to each individual’s needs.

Most recently, she became involved with programming for vocational services.
