Chesapeake Utilities Corporation today reported less robust second quarter financial results.
The company’s net income for the quarter ended June 30 was $6 million, compared to $8 million in the same quarter of 2016.
Earnings per share 37 cents, compared to 52 cents for the same quarter of 2016.

The decline in net income reflected expenses, investments to generate growth and the impact of the Delmarva Peninsula’s warm weather.
