The commercial lender CAG Truck Capital in Chadds Ford announced plans earlier this week to hire local adults with autism in partnership with The Precisionists, a Wilmington-based company that helps find jobs for individuals with disabilities.

The Precisionists set the goal of employing 10,000 people with disabilities in the U.S. by 2025. The firm has partnered with a number of companies based in the region, including JPMorgan Chase.

“When properly assessed, trained and employed, people on the autism spectrum are extremely
high-performing employees in critical and challenging jobs, such as administrative business functions and
data analytics,” said Ernie Dianastasis, CEO of The Precisionists.

CAG Truck Capital is offering positions in its loan processing department. Basic tasks include data entry, processing loan documents and working with owner operators, repair shops and truck dealers.

“A diverse team of people, with different backgrounds, experiences, cultures and perspectives, makes us a
better company in every way,” said John Cosgrove, CAG Truck Capital general manager.
