WILMINGTON — Governor-Elect John Carney has launched a transition website at transition.delaware.gov.
The site aims to help Delawareans stay informed about the transition process, send ideas and feedback to the governor-elect and his transition tea, and submit resumes to be considered for positions in the next administration.
“Over the last several months, I’ve traveled the state speaking with Delawareans about their thoughts, ideas and concerns. I’ve shared with them my vision about how we can work together to move our state forward and strengthen it for future generations. I’m honored that the people of Delaware heard our message and have placed their trust in me to be the next leader of our great state,” he said. “Now it’s time to get to work, and we’re taking the next step today with the launch of the Carney administration transition website. In the coming weeks, we will bring together a diverse group of Delawareans who have new, exciting, and creative ideas for moving our state forward. We want to hear from you. Please take some time to send me your thoughts and concerns. Check out the exciting announcements we’ll make as we fill out our team and get ready to take office. And, if you’d like to join us, please send me your resume through the website.
“We have a lot of work to do. We’re going to lead the state through the transition to an innovation economy,” Carney said. “ We’re going to strengthen our education system so that every child has the opportunity to succeed. We’re going to keep our streets safe, and we’re going to set the state on a fiscal path that invests in the services Delawareans rely on. Let’s get started.”
